Friends... I've decided to move my blog over to the substack platform. I think it's the future of news and commentary and that it can help change those things for the better.

Also, my strength is as a writer of long form essays, not short social media style bites, and Locals is really more of a quick update sort of a site. I think Substack will produce a better Continental Congress product, as I think all of you deserve.

You can join for free or become a subscriber. I leave that up to you, but once I develop a following, certain posts will go behind the paywall. Hoping to post at least one long form essay a week focusing on the intersection of movies and politics, which is something I know a lot about.

We are coming up on the one year anniversary of the revamped CONTINENTAL CONGRESS and over 250 original essays. I hope you'll join me for the next year and beyond.
